The short version
Murray Physics is an independent revision service for personal study. Use your own account, use the material fairly, and do not treat the site as a replacement for your school, teacher or official exam-board information.
1. Using Murray Physics
You may use Murray Physics for your own learning and revision. You must not deliberately interfere with the service, try to access another person’s account, bypass access controls, scrape the service at scale, or copy and resell Murray Physics content.
2. Accounts
Keep your password private and use an email address you can access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. If you think somebody else has accessed it, contact Support.
You can delete an ordinary student account using the account deletion page. Staff and owner accounts use separate administrative controls.
3. Revision and exam information
Murray Physics aims to provide accurate, specification-aware revision material, but it is an independent service and is not an official exam-board publication or endorsement. Exam specifications, assessment arrangements and official guidance can change. Where a decision matters for an examination entry or assessment, check the relevant exam board or ask your school or teacher.
Using Murray Physics does not guarantee a particular grade, result or university outcome.
4. Free and Premium access
Some features are free and others require GCSE Premium or A-Level Premium. The two qualification subscriptions are separate. Premium access is granted only when the server has verified the relevant entitlement. Complimentary access granted by an administrator is not a payment and does not create a Stripe subscription.
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Prices and billing intervals are shown before checkout. You can manage an active subscription through the customer portal available from your subscription page. If you are under 18, ask a parent or carer before making a purchase.
5. Account deletion and subscriptions
An active live subscription must be ended before self-service account deletion. This prevents a recurring payment from being left without an account from which you can manage it. Once the subscription has ended, the deletion tool removes student learning data and anonymises the account. Limited billing or audit information may remain where necessary, as explained in the Privacy notice.
6. Intellectual property
Unless a source is identified as belonging to somebody else, the site’s original explanations, practice questions, retrieval cards, interface and other original material are provided for personal educational use. You may use them for your own study, but you may not republish, sell or systematically reproduce the service without permission.
7. Availability and changes
We may update content, features, prices or technical systems to improve the service, keep it secure, reflect specification changes or meet legal requirements. We may temporarily restrict access for maintenance or security reasons. Where a material change affects paid access, we will aim to communicate it clearly.
8. Suspension
Access may be restricted or suspended where this is reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate misuse, respond to security problems or enforce these terms.
9. Privacy
The Privacy notice explains what personal information Murray Physics uses and how you can exercise your data-protection rights.
10. Questions
